  • Both Rapeseed Oil and Olive Oil are known for their deeply hydrating and nourishing properties. They are rich in essential fatty acids such as omega-3 and omega-6, and also contain antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. These components help to hydrate and protect the hair.
  • Macadamia oil repairs and nourishes brittle hair. It has a protective effect and adds extra shine.
  • Jojoba oil makes hair silky soft and provides intense nourishment.
  • Atlas Cedar essential oil works against flakes due to its antiseptic properties.

Usage

This unique blend is a must-have and can be applied at almost any stage of your routine. We deliberately chose a large bottle because we want to encourage you to use enough oil (the oilier, the better ;-) ).


  1. You can use it as a pre-shampoo (also known as pre-poo). Apply the oil generously to your scalp and massage with your fingertips. Stroke your hair downwards, following the cuticles. Leave it in for at least 5 minutes (preferably longer) before showering. Then, simply wash your hair with our shampoo (twice if necessary). This will cleanse, nourish, and protect your scalp without weighing down your hair.

  2. The oil can be used both before and after styling. Before using your styling products, you can apply a small amount of oil so that it penetrates deep into the hair. After styling, the oil acts as a "sealing" product. This locks in the nourishing products in your hair and protects it from external moisture, thereby reducing frizz. Finally, you can easily scrunch out the hard cast of a hair gel with a few drops of oil.
    Please note, we only recommend this for drier hair types.

  3. You can choose to use the oil on your lengths and ends. This is the best way to protect your hair from split ends. If you notice your ends are dry, apply a few drops of oil and you are good to go. Please note, we only recommend this for drier hair types.

FAQ

Is the oil suitable for all hair types?
Yes, our oil is suitable for all hair types. It can be a valuable addition to any hair care routine. It's simply a matter of trying it out to see how much oil works best for you. For example, if you use it as a pre-treatment (pre-poo), you'll need more than if you apply it to styled hair.


Why is our oil so multifunctional?
Because it both penetrates the hair and provides a sealing function on the outside. It's also a peacekeeper on your scalp with its antibacterial properties. And in styling, it also proves its effectiveness when you want to break your cast or control frizz during a refresh ;-)


Won't this make my hair greasy?
During the pre-poo phase, the oil is intended to effectively loosen sebum and build-up on your scalp. This is essentially a preparation for cleansing. This allows the shampoo to then thoroughly remove everything, leaving your scalp nourished. It's a win-win situation. However, during styling, you need to be careful with the amount of oil to prevent your hair from becoming too greasy. Therefore, start with a few drops. Less is more, and if you have dry hair and feel it needs more, you can always add more.

Tip: Don't panic if you apply the oil during styling/refresh and think it has become greasy. Due to its sealing function, the oil doesn't always absorb immediately. So, wait a few minutes and then re-evaluate. Usually, the oil will have fully absorbed by then.


What about an oily scalp?
We understand that the idea of a pre-poo treatment can be daunting if you have an oily scalp. But instead of making your scalp oilier, it stabilizes your sebaceous glands and helps the oil to more easily remove built-up product residue with shampoo. During styling or refreshing, we recommend not using oil, or only a very small amount if your hair gets greasy quickly.


How do I apply the oil to my scalp?
Our convenient dispensing bottle ensures the oil comes out very evenly, allowing you to easily reach all areas of your scalp. We recommend always putting the oil in the small diffuser bottle to minimize spills. We focus on large packaging because we want to encourage you to use the oil generously, so you will truly experience its benefits!

Can I use this product if I'm pregnant?
This product can be safely used during pregnancy.
