I'm torn between this synergy or just the fragrance-free bundle because I have dry and sensitive skin
If you often experience skin reactions or eczema, we recommend the unscented version. However, you can also try this blend, as it soothes the skin well. Start with half the dosage, unless you are hypersensitive to essential oils. During periods when your skin is particularly sensitive, you can always switch to the unscented version.

Can the Dry Scalp synergy be used for children?
For children under 8 years old, it's best to avoid using EO. It's best to use unscented clay and oil.

Can Dry Scalp Synergy be used during pregnancy?
Essential oils are not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

My skin feels like it's burning when using the Dry Scalp Synergy, what am I doing wrong?
Check to make sure you haven't added too many drops. If not, halve your dose of synergy to see if that helps. If that doesn't work, you're probably allergic to one of the EOs in the blend.

Can I add the Dry Scalp Synergy to the 'normal' oil -My Smooth Companion?
No. TheMy Smooth Companion Oilalready contains a carefully balanced blend of essential oils. Adding additional drops of a synergy will increase the concentration too much, which can be too intense for the scalp. Therefore, always add the synergy to an unscented carrier such as The Gentle Friend Oil or our clay mask, The Detox Sidekick.

What is the difference between a treatment and the 'normal' oil - My Smooth Companion?
The common oil,My Smooth Companion, contains a premixed blend of essential oils that has a calming and antibacterial effect on the scalp. The concentration has been deliberately kept low to support a healthy scalp. For clients with a specific, pronounced, or chronic problem, we recommend the unscented oil with synergy. This version allows for better dosage control and synergy choices for specific applications (e.g., hair loss, oily or dry scalp). Some clients are sensitive to essential oils; they can use the unscented oil without synergy.

Is it okay to combine synergies?

No, it's not recommended to combine two synergy products. Each synergy is carefully formulated with a specific ratio of essential oils, tailored to a specific scalp condition. Mixing them increases the total percentage of essential oils, which can overwhelm the skin. Furthermore, the effects of the different oils can interfere with each other or unintentionally amplify them. Therefore, always choose one targeted synergy per treatment for the best and safest results.
